Downtown Wilmington's refreshing break from the shoulder-to-shoulder, noise polluted, high priced monotony that is typically found downtown. Owned and operated by some of the best people you'll likely ever meet. Definitely worth a visit or twelve!

So. I showed up and Chris (the bartender) was working on the music. Either way. I am never disappointed by this place. The atmosphere is wonderful. Just a chill place to hang out and grab a local beer with friends. I just keep coming back for more.

I love Tavern! 5 or so years ago my life long friend John started it as Tavern on 2nd (almost positive that was the name). He passed away and his partner and best friend kept it going. When I go down town that's my first stop. I'll always love the place no matter who and what is there. Check it out and you'll be pleased!!

Great place in downtown Wilmington. Good beer and booze selection in a great little tavern. World Cup games and they opened early for the week. Service was friendly and efficient.

One of my favorite bars. I even have a plaque on the bar. The owners are incredible and staff and drinks are amazing.
